Reflection

I love the organization and ability to easily share documents as a department. We use the shared drive to share resources and schedules as well as other items to make sure we all have access. 

I like that google lets you manage the level of control you give to those who you share files with. It allows you to share work without having someone completely delete your files. 

My department has a Classroom where we share docs, but I would prefer a shared drive, and this tutorial helped me see why that was always my preference. It is easier to find things quickly via Drive than via Classroom.

My favorite feature about the Google Workspace Shared Drive is how easy it is to organize and access shared files/folders. The shortcut feature makes it organizing my Drive so simple. My department loves to collaborate, and we use Shared Drives all the time. Knowing how to organize the many files we share and being able to shortcut directly to those files will streamline communication and productivity in a snap. I also love the color coding feature. Being able to color code all of my folders in my Drive will also help draw my eye directly to the files that I need. This Digital Badge is so helpful to me!

I love shared drives. My department loves to collaborate on a variety of different resources and shared drives give us a way to efficiently share a lot of materials with each other.  Sometimes we will all edit the same document at the same time while other times it gives us the ability to each work on small components to help make a larger document made up of our individual components. We cam edit from home, work, or anywhere we have computer access. Its great!

My favorite feature is sharing the folder into My Drive. This will make it so much easier/quicker to get to the folders that I use frequently. I'm so glad that I won't have to look through all of the shared folders to find them any more.

Learning about the shortcut feature was huge for me. I always hated scrolling through the 'Shared with Me' tab to find what I was looking for, especially since it remains in chronological order when shared, not in most recently opened order. It helps to be able to organize the shared files I am using frequently as it makes sense in my brain in the location I know I will be able to quickly access it! 

I think my favorite feature is using the shortcut option. I already put 2 folders that I frequent into My Drive. It will save me a lot of time clicking into different drives and folders. I also like seeing the details of the changes made to shared drives.  This was a great a great video!

My favorite feature is the ability to track what users are doing. I think creating a shard drive for the officers of the club I run would be really helpful and the ability to see who's working on what is a big bonus! I also like the ability to assign different levels of users.

Sharing drives makes working on curriculum projects very efficient.  I learned just now how to make a shortcut to shared files/folders so that they are easily accessible.  

I love the versatility and ability to share drives/documents/forms with colleagues.  I utilize many different google forms and being able to share them with teachers and counselors is great.  I think learning how to best organize everything is super important too.  Being able to reference a common access point such as a google drive to streamline all the various processes and protocols we have makes my life a lot easier.

I'm always looking for ways to streamline and organize my digital files.  It's very helpful to know how to navigate shared drive settings and to communicate with the members, without using Gmail.  I also liked that I could pick folders from the shared drive and add those to my drive with a shortcut or starred folder and access the contents independently.
