Reflection

I learned a lot about the differences between My Drive and Shared Drive. I was surprised at how easy it was to create, share, and hide a Shared Drive. This will make collaborating with my grade level and those working on a project more efficient. I also like that you can manage members of the drive and view what was added at a glance.

The descriptions of "My Drive" and "Shared Drive" were very helpful.  I have been added to shared drives before but didn't know what or how they were used.  I like the idea that anything created in the shared drive stays in the shared drive, even if someone leaves.   I think the shortcut feature will be the most helpful, as I can link the specific items I need from the shared drive to my drive which will save me time, as I will not have to search for things as often. 

Today's Badge allowed me to better understand the difference between my drive and my shared drive. My favorite feature was learning to take important shared drive materials and add them to my own drive for faster and more efficient retrieval. This will certainly help me when looking for specific materials that have been shared with me that I need to reference.

I often spend a lot of time looking for things that were shared with me. Creating a shortcut right away when I receive it based on my filing system, helps save time when looking for things. It also helps me remember items that were shared with me when I look in a file and see a document that can be useful!

My favorite feature is creating a shortcut for the Shared Drive. It makes it easier for me to find things that I use a lot. Having these shared folders are super helpful to collaborate with people in my department and to share ideas and materials with each other. 

I really enjoy the ability to share entire files of documents. It allows me and my colleagues to work together on creating new materials and being able to share them all collectively, rather than individually page by page.

My favorite feature is being able to create a shortcut for the Shared Drive. It makes it easier for me to find my most-used files/folders quickly & efficiently. Also, I created a Shared Folder for the other AIS Math teacher and me. We can now both add files, websites, and materials that are helpful in our classrooms and keep them in one safe place.

My favorite feature using a shared drive is being able to collaborate on documents with my coworkers.  It makes everything much easier when we can all work together.  It was also great to learn some new skills such as using the activity tab, how to email members of the shared drive, shortcuts, etc.

My favorite feature is adding shared drive files to my personal drive using a shortcut. I always go to the wrong thing first when trying to access the UFLI in the shared drive. Now it's in my personal drive!

My favorite feature is making a shortcut from the shared drive because I can find important files and folders more quickly when they are in my personal drive.  This is helpful when I need to find something quickly because I tend to get lost in all the different drives sometimes.

Thanks for clarifying the differences between my own Drive and Shared Drives. It can be confusing, but I like how I can make the shortcuts to add shared files to my own Drive. Now I understand how to recognize those files or folders that have the shared arrow symbol. It's so nice that the details are available to show all the changes that have been made to the Shared files.

I like creating a shared drive that many people could collaborate on. When running star student, I often have to share everything that I am doing but reather it would be easy to create a drive with everything we need and then can have one place for it all. I also find having a shared drive for math, ela, and Eggert is easier to find the files that are needed. As the video said, it is nice that I do not have the search through my email for certain files. Creating shared folders and using shared folders make it more efficient and productive. I do not waste time looking for files or folders. I can use that time to create resources.
