Creating a shared Google Classroom for my team members can allow us to share posts we have created for our students.

Then, I can repost or my team mate can repost and tailor wording to fit the needs of their classroom!

Google Classrooms are a great way to post assignments and announcements for courses, but also a great means of communicating with students in co-curricular groups. Learning to interact and be productive online is a skill the majority of our students will need for their futures; using Google Classroom to enhance classroom instruction is a great way to teach them this skill.

Using Google Classroom is extremely helpful for organizing daily agendas and virtual documents for students. These skills are especially helpful when students are absent or I'm absent. It allows for instruction and learning to be as continuous as possible.

Now that we no longer have computer instruction at the elementary level, I think it is important for kids at this level to engage with GC.

Having used google classroom in the past, it allows for quick and easy way to post class notes, answer keys and links to resources.   One of my teaching goals for my math classroom is to have enough time daily to see student work and provide feedback.  To accomplish this, I post homework answers to speed up the correcting process and discussion time of homework so that time spent in class in spent with all students actively participating and practicing, not just a few select students listening to "going over homework".

Google Classroom is an excellent classroom tool that allows for streamlined communication between teacher and students. This platform provides ways to make announcements to the class, post assignments, provide study/review materials, and accommodate students who were absent from class and need to catch up. I intend to use Google Classroom as a tool to house all classroom study materials and assignments, and therefore communicate clearly with my students. My students will be taught that if they are absent from class, the first place they should look for absent work is Google Classroom! This will provide them with an easy way to access what they missed. Google Classroom is a one-stop shop for classroom communication and provides a great workspace for students to house their ongoing work in one place. This platform provides an easy way for teachers to access student work and assess that work.

I used google classroom this past year. It is a great way to organize out all your units and resources as well as set up HW and test submission boxes.  I like it especially because It helps keep me organized with gradeing all their HW and Projects!

I have used google classroom in the past (less of a power user more of a once in a while to "handout" online assignments).  I want to learn more skills in how to use it like I've seen some colleagues use it.  I like the notifications edit and an explanation of the comment features that google classroom has as I think its a good place to have fruitful online based discussions.

As a new teacher to Google Classroom, I found this training very helpful. This is a great way to push out different materials to specific students or groups of students. Plus, with students taking the CBT this year, it will help students be exposed to working on the Chromebooks and typing out written responses. This will also help streamline materials and have them be located in one place, rathe than spending time going to different apps and websites.

Google Classroom will help to keep me organized and keep my students informed, especially when they are absent

I have already been using Google Classroom as a tool to help keep myself and my students organized with respect to our classroom notes. I scan and post notes from each class so the students in that class can go back if needed or find a copy of notes they missed because of an absence. It is also a helpful tool for communicating with students about upcoming/due assignments.

This was a nice refresher for me. Google Classroom is all that we use in 5th grade, and my students are constantly doing assignments and receiving messages from me via Google Classroom.  Students also message me when they have trouble with a particular assignment.  Since students use Google Classroom so much in the middle school, I try to use it as much as possible to transition my 5th graders to the middle school.
