Google Classroom Level 1

Now that I can create and manage our Google Classroom, it will really help my co-teacher and me work together more easily. We can post assignments, videos, and class work all in one place, which keeps things organized for students. It also makes it simple to share different versions of work or extra support for students who need accommodations, so everyone can access what they need to be successful.

Google Classroom

Using Google Classroom has been a great way to organize learning and communicate effectively in an online environment. I’ve learned how to post assignments, share resources, and provide feedback all in one place, which helps students stay on track and understand expectations. The stream feature allows students to post comments and ask questions, creating a space for discussion and collaboration. This open line of communication helps build a sense of classroom community, even in a virtual setting.

Google classroom will be helpful for keeping students updated on all course information.

It will be a great tool to keep students updated continuously about upcoming assignments/quizzes/important information. I will also be able to post completed notes. This will be extremely beneficial for students who are absent due to illness, lesson, or any other reason. It will also be super helpful when it comes to co-teaching courses with other teachers. We will both have access to all of our students and be able to get important information to our classes.

My ability to navigate Google Classroom will align with my teaching goals by making curriculum more accessible to students, increasing communication with students, and providing organization of content. Utilizing Google Classroom will allow students who are absent or need more support to access critical content that is essential for learning. Additionally, the digital platform provides opportunities for students to learn from multimedia such as videos, link, images, and other instructional diversity. Furthermore, this platform allows for more effective communication with students and families aside from in person instruction.

This will be useful in being able to communicate with my team and players. I have used google classroom before and this was a nice refresher. This can be helpful for sending out forms/ clothing orders. It is also another way to have communication with my team.

Google Classroom is a great tool that I have used a lot this year to post assignments for my students.  It helps with creating a simple routine for my students to know how to easily access assignments.  It's also a great way for our team to stay organized with being departmentalized.  We each have a Google Classroom that we can post in for our respective subjects.  I've also found that it easily links to outside sites, such as Canva and Readworks, which makes assigning tasks seamless.

This is the first time I'm using Google Classroom regularly, since I never used it that much in the elementary classroom. It's such a powerful tool for keeping everything organized and making it easy for students to access assignments, resources, and announcements all in one place. I frequently use it to share homework, post updates, and provide materials, and it’s really efficient.

Danielle Stelmaszyk: Google Classroom Reflection

Being able to create and manage my Google Classroom gives me a more organized and efficient way to connect with students and share resources. It supports my goal of creating a more accessible and engaging learning environment, where students can easily keep track of assignments, access materials, and get timely feedback. These skills help me streamline communication and spend more time focusing on instruction and student growth.

Google Classroom

I am so happy and appreciative of this online training for Google Classroom. Being able to successfully have classrooms set up for my students will help me integrate technology into my classroom. The materials I use can either be paper based or presented via slideshow, so being able to give my students the option will really help with engagement and accountability.

Incorporating more skills that students could do at home.

I would like to use the Google Classroom to incorporate more independent, at-home, activities for my students. Parents and students could then pick and choose from different activity options from the stream that they would like to do. I could post different videos, activities and home exercises that could work with all my students.

I occasionally use Google Classroom with my students. I appreciate that it connects with other programs to add assignments (such as Savvas). It is a fun way to share assignments that allow each student to create their own version of Google docs/slides, and then I can see them. I also like tracking who has completed various assignments. It is also convenient that students can access those assignments at any time as long as they’re posted, not just when we initially start it.

Google Classroom 1

This will help the students have access to the classroom materials when needed.  They are able to access resources and completed class notes and homework at any time.  I will be able to post assignments to share with the students.
