Reflection

The focus of this section of GoGuardian is all about setting up classes and monitoring students during them.  I think this will lead to better productivity in a Chromebook based class as you can make sure the students are staying on task and are engaged with the content much easier.  It helps the teacher make sure students are not as distracted by other online things as well as make sure they stay safe online.

I am brand new to this, so I am sure it will take a little bit of time to get used to. However, it's great to be able to allow independent work time to be on computers, but some students need to be monitored for time on task as well as for their independent abilities. I think this will be a great way to monitor their progress as they move to independence for tasks - allowing me to see who requires a little extra support, as well as keeping students on task.

GoGuardian is a great tool to monitor students as they work online during class.  It allows teachers to track students movement on websites and what they are working on.   This will allow teachers to monitor students learning, along with allowing students to navigate the internet more freely with using redirection from the teacher.  It also is a great way to see what information students are looking at if they are on multiple webpages if looking at the detailed report during class. 

GoGuardian will make it possible for me to track my students progress and make sure they are on task. I have a long, large room in swhich my students sit facing different directions at tables. This will make it possible to see everyone's screens at the same time.

Go Guardian will be a great tool  to help monitor student activity during instructional times.

Go guardian will be able to help me make sure my students are staying on task when I assign anything on the chromebook. I have contemplated assigning warm up questions on DeltaMath to start the class. I could make sure students are on task and not playing games. Also if we do play a review game for fun, I would be able to make sure students aren't on other sites not following along. 

I am new to GoGuardian. Integrating GoGuardian would allow me to see what my kids are doing/seeing on their Chromebooks. I like that I can monitor what they are doing and make sure they are on the site(s) I want them to be on. This is a great tool for the classroom. I would imagine this would become increasingly more helpful as the kids get older!

This feature helps me be able to monitor students as they're using their chromebook. When we are doing research for a project, I can see if they're going to the websites that I shared with them and I can hold them accountable. I can also see where students are struggling if they are not utilizing what I have provided for them. 

I think having a program to keep kids on task and engaged on what tabs we are using as a class is a great tool. Being able to close out any tabs that a student should not be on is a great feature. Right at the teachers finger tips on her/his own laptop.

The GoGuardian is such a great way to help monitor what my students are working on when it is time to be on their Chromebooks.  

Go Guardian is a very cool way for teachers or their Aides to monitor students in a classroom setting.  It's ability to see what Screens your students are on is an extremely exceptional too.
