I was immediately thinking of ways to use this interactively vs. punitively.

My interest in GoGuardian leans somewhat more toward using it to interact with students digitally while they are working independently vs. using it to police their web browsing. I teach mostly juniors and seniors, and for the most part, they need less policing during independent work than underclass students. However, when students are working independently on writing, research, or other projects, it may be useful to communicate with them about what they're doing. This might range from showing them websites I've found that may help them individually, chatting with them in a way that isn't disruptive to their classmates, or showing them how to use specific technology.

Go Guardian is a tool that teachers can use to monitor student use of technology during instruction.  This module walked the teacher through the process of imporrting rosters and activating rosters that are already set up via Powerschool and Cleaver.  The learner was also able to learn how to view the technology use by all students simultaneously.  I liked how the timeline feature allows the teacher to go back and view student technolgy use earlier in the session to ensure that sites viewed were important.  This video also showed how to close windows that students are viewing when they shouldn't be on a particular site.

Go Guardian is a way to monitor students and make sure they are focused on the site they are supposed to be on.  It also lets the teacher see where the students have been. If a student hasn't completed a task you can see if it's because they have been drifting off task online.

Go Guardian is a tool to monitor, control, and share information to students that are using their devices in real time.  The devices can be accessed and seen on one control panel that allows the educator an opportunity to manipulate things on some/all students computers.  I have used this tool primarily to hold students accountable and make sure they are on task.  I can also quickly provide feedback by checking their work with a click of a button.  This has been very useful to me clicking through google classroom assignments is not quick enough if I am trying to provide feedback in real time.

Students in my classes are often completing independent or group work for an assignment or project. GoGuardian is a great way to keep them on task and help them learn to focus on the task at hand (a great workplace skill)!

Go Guardian is a wonderful way to monitor what students are doing on their Chromebooks during lessons. This has become very useful during whole group lessons where students need their Chromebooks. I am able to lock the screen to give directions, forcing students to pay attention. It has also been useful to present my screen to students. Overall, this has helped keep students accountable during lessons.

GoGuardian is a useful classroom tool that helps manage student engagement and productivity. There are many features to this program that allow the teacher to supervise student learning and ensure that students remain focused on the task at hand. By providing a real-time feed of what students are viewing on their individual screens, incorporating GoGuardian into the classroom allows for a safe and productive use of classtime. Features such as private messaging and closing tabs allow the teacher to hold each student accountable for what they are doing on their computers. This creates a classroom environment of accountability and respect, which in turn helps the students to be more engaged and productive in the task at hand.

Go Guardian is a great way to monitor students work status during your class. This is not only a great way to help you keep students on task but also serves as a great way to locate areas during your lesson or activity where you may lose the attention of students and help you improve on those areas!

The focus of this section of GoGuardian is all about setting up classes and monitoring students during them.  I think this will lead to better productivity in a Chromebook based class as you can make sure the students are staying on task and are engaged with the content much easier.  It helps the teacher make sure students are not as distracted by other online things as well as make sure they stay safe online.

This is a great way to monitor ability as well as time on task/independence on a computer.

I am brand new to this, so I am sure it will take a little bit of time to get used to. However, it's great to be able to allow independent work time to be on computers, but some students need to be monitored for time on task as well as for their independent abilities. I think this will be a great way to monitor their progress as they move to independence for tasks - allowing me to see who requires a little extra support, as well as keeping students on task.

GoGuardian is a great tool to monitor students as they work online during class.  It allows teachers to track students movement on websites and what they are working on.   This will allow teachers to monitor students learning, along with allowing students to navigate the internet more freely with using redirection from the teacher.  It also is a great way to see what information students are looking at if they are on multiple webpages if looking at the detailed report during class.
