Reflection

Integrating GoGuardian in a PE setting can allow me to monitor a student who may be completing an assignment online because they are out with an injury. This will allow for a more engaging experience for them while helping them stay on task and focus on the assignment at hand. Although I will not be using this much, I can see the benefit in using it when it is reasonable as it is another tool to have available. 

Using GoGuardian in my teaching can really help make online learning feel more smooth and manageable. I’m able to see what students are doing in real time, which makes it easier to keep them on track and step in quickly if they get distracted. It takes away some of the constant reminders and lets me be more proactive.

Integrating GoGuardian into my teaching can help create a more focused and engaging online learning environment by allowing me to actively monitor student activity and guide them in real time. Features like screen monitoring and tab control make it easier to keep students on task, while also giving me opportunities to provide immediate feedback or support when needed.

I plan to use GoGuardian to help monitor what students are working on and keep them accountable when using their devices. Although I have not used it extensively in my classroom yet, I intend to begin using it. GoGuardian will allow me to see what students are working on in real time, intervene quickly if they become off task, and ensure they understand assignments correctly. Website-blocking features will help limit distractions and keep students focused on learning tools such as Google Classroom and Kami. I can also use it to track progress and address misconceptions before students complete an assignment incorrectly. Overall, GoGuardian will help create a more focused, engaging, and productive learning environment.

I am hoping that GoGuardian helps me keep track of what all students are working on at the same time. It will also assist during indoor recess if students choose to go on their devices. 

How can the integration of GoGuardian's features into your teaching practice enhance your ability to create a more engaging and productive online learning environment for students?

I have had experience in using Go Guardian when I was a classroom teacher.  My students in intervention are not on Chromebooks very often, but I was glad to refresh my knowledge on this resource. This resrouce can enhance my ability to create a more engaging and productive by helping me to monitor my students progress while using technology.  In the classroom, I would have this feature up on my screen while conferencing with a students, yet at the same time being able to monitor students as they work independently.  More than once, I had to lock a students screen and send them a message about being on task. It helps to make sure students are being productive on their task.  It is a great tool for teachers!

Using GoGuardian in my classroom helps me see what students are working on and step in quickly if they get off task. Website-blocking tools make it easier to keep students focused while still allowing them to use helpful learning sites. My co-teacher and I like to pull this up whenever students are working independently to help keep everyone engaged and track each student's progress. 

I haven't used Go Guardian in my class setting, but plan to start utilizing it during my study hall periods. Even if I'm not monitoring it every minute of class, I believe Go Guardian will be a great way to keep kids accountable to staying on task in study hall settings. 

Integrating GoGuardian into my teaching can enhance my ability to create meaningful, engaging, and more productive lessons while utilizing technological platforms. GoGuardian will provide me with the ability to monitor my students work and progress as they use online science interactives and labs. Not only can I provide guidance/redirections directly through GoGuardian by 'xing' out of 'off task tabs', but I can also provide these corrections to students in real time, using the GoGuardian as a supportive tool. I am so excited to integrate this platform into my teaching!

GoGuardian seems like a great tool to use when students are using devices in class. It will help with engagement because students are aware that I am able to see what they are doing on their computer. Additionally, if they is not enough incentive to work on the assignment at hand, I have the ability to keep them on track from my screen. It can also be helpful in the sense of making sure students understand the assignment. If I see a student that is not completing something correctly, I can help them before they've completely finished the assignment. Specifically for math, I can see if there are any major misconceptions that need to be addressed in the moment.

Go Guardian will help me manage on-task behaviors while students are independently working on programs such as Learning Ally or Lexia Power Up.

GoGuardian has been a valuable tool for helping students stay on task and put forth their best effort during digital learning. By monitoring students, it has allowed me to guide students’ focus and provide support when distractions arise. By being able to view student screens and close off-task tabs GoGuardian helps create a more productive and accountable learning environment.
