Drive

My favorite feature of Google Drive is how easy it makes collaboration. Being able to share folders, lesson plans, and documents with a co-teacher in real time helps us stay organized and on the same page. We can both edit plans, add notes, and keep important documentation in one place.

What is your favorite feature of Drive and how can mastering some of these features empower you to efficiently manage and collaborate on resources, assignments, and materials?


The Google Drive is an awesome way to organize materials. It is also a great way to share resources with others and to have shared documents to collborate on resources by giving everyone editing rights on the document.  We have a shared AIS folder that we all put resources in that we share.  This minicourse has inspired me to organize better, by making more folders( with emojis and color coding).

I enjoy the ability to create a frequently used folder.  There are several shared items that I use daily and was always having to search them because I couldn't remember exactly what they were titled.  It has helped me stay organized and save time.

Google Drive Organization

My favorite feature that Google drive offers is the ability to organize my files in a way that makes sense to me! This tutorial taught me that I can arrange my files in a certain order using numbers or emojis - which I never knew about beforehand. I also love the idea of color coding certain folders to make managing and locating of documents even easier. Being able to quickly share folders and documents with colleagues has been so helpful in regards to planning with co-teachers and other science teachers!

This was helpful with explaining different ways of color coding files. I appreciate learning how to share a whole folder as well. I know I will use this in the near future.

My favorite part of the drive is how easily I can organize my files. I created folders for the big topics, but then subfolders under each one. I color-coded them to match (all of ELA is purple, math is blue, science is green...) It's cute adding the emojis to the titles to make it easier to locate. I love being organized, and keeping my digital files organized is just as important.

Google Drive

My favorite feature is using "add shortcut" so you can have various documents and folders in different places. I love using Google Drive because it’s such an effective way to stay organized. I can add shortcuts to frequently used files or folders, making them easy to access. Color-coding folders and adding symbols to names helps me quickly identify content and keep everything visually organized. I also appreciate being able to store documents within folders, keeping related materials together and easy to find.

Organization

I absolutely love how easy Google Drive makes it to stay organized.  I like that you can create folders and subfolders, as well as color code them.  An added bonus is how easy is it to share files and entire folders with others.  It makes collaboration so quick and simple.  I really like how effortless it is to find my saved resources!

I love the ability to share files and folders. I also like how everything can be personalized.

I love that I can change the color of files and folders so that I can more easily find what I am looking for is great. Being able to add pictures and star things to prioritize is another great way to help differentiate different files and folders.

I work collaboratively a lot with the different OT's and PT's throughout the district. It is so great, that we can just share our files and folders within drive and create these documents that we can all work on at the same time, while seeing what we are all adding and changing in real time.  It's a great way to be able to share thoughts, ideas and to stay connected easily on different projects and tasks.

I love how organized you can be using Drive and my favorite feature is the ability to create files. I was not aware of the ability to add emojis and color code, and those additional features will greatly help in my organization process.

Google Drive Reflection: Danielle Stelmaszyk

One thing I really love about Google Drive is shared folders. I love how they give a space to group collaborate. Instead of chasing down the latest version of a file or digging through emails, everything lives in one organized spot that updates in real-time. It’s saved me so much time during group projects and team planning because we all know where to look, what’s been updated, and who’s working on what. It just makes collaboration feel smoother and less stressful.
