If we select 'Show rubric,' we can give students a number score based on their response against the given rubric.

Grading Constructed Response Items

Grading constructed response questions allows a teacher to see what and how much of a topic students have retained after a lesson. Teachers use a common rubric within their department, so that the information collected can be discussed at the next PLC. Teachers can then utilize the EADMS feedback to construct more effective lessons to increase understanding of topics where student achievement may have scored lower. Teachers can share their strategies to fill in other teachers potential gaps in lessons, which may have resulted in these lower scores.

Grading CR Questions

EADMS making grading the questions easy by giving a rubric from 0-3 and allows for easy navigation to other questions as you are grading. This saves time and allows for the person taking the test to see how they did based on the rubric.

Grading CR Items

When grading a constructed response question in EADMS, teachers are required to grade each question manually using a rubric.  Student responses are evaluated using the rubric with a score of 0, 1, 2, or 3. The teacher can then analyze student scores as a class or as individuals.

Scoring Constructive Response Answers

Through the CR Grading Widget (constructive response) you will go into your classroom rosters to score your assigned students. Score the students responses based on the rubric and anchor responses posted above the student answers. You can score the answers as a 0, 1, 2, or 3. As you score each students response it is added to their overall score.
