Grading constructed response questions allows a teacher to see what and how much of a topic students have retained after a lesson. Teachers use a common rubric within their department, so that the information collected can be discussed at the next PLC. Teachers can then utilize the EADMS feedback to construct more effective lessons to increase understanding of topics where student achievement may have scored lower. Teachers can share their strategies to fill in other teachers potential gaps in lessons, which may have resulted in these lower scores.
