Reflection

I love that Go Guardian is so easy to use and that it can add students and connect my classes. It is great to be able to monitor the students to make sure that they are staying on task and continuing to be productive when they are asked! Knowing the teacher is monitoring their chromebooks they will be less likel to disengage in what we are doing and learning about in class. I can also pop into each and assess them as they go instead of calling them out to come up to me I can message them if I see them doing something wrong. Great way to give feedback as well.

Go Guardian gives me the opportunity to monitor my kids when they are working in class. If they are in an area that they shouldn't be I can close that window or freeze their screen.  I can also send them private messages to either help them in class or warn them to pay attention. I really look forward to working more with Go Guardian.

I think GoGuardian will enhance my ability to keep students on track during class.  I love that I can post them an individual message during class about the websites they are currently on without drawing unnecessary attention to that student.  I also like the feature where I can close out the tab of any website a student is on that I prefer them not to be on.  I think GoGuardian will help serve as a deterrent for students to wander online during a lesson.  I am looking forward to utilizing this tool, which will help enhance my awareness of what is happening in the classroom in addition to just walking around and viewing their screens.

I am looking forward to experimenting with GoGuardian soon. My plan, with a co-teacher, is to use it with one of our extracurricular clubs. I think it will be a great way to monitor student work/productivity, keep workers on task, etc. I like that the students will know that the teacher(s) is "watching" them while they work. I think GoGuardian will also help with long-term Time Management within classes. I can't wait to give this a try!

Using Go Guardian can improve my ability to give students some space to work while at the same time give me the ability to carefully assist them when needed without embarrassment or creating a distraction in a larger setting. It can also help me virtually monitor students taking tests. Another way it can help me is to provide documentation of work completed and accuracy when reporting a student's distractibility or the need for refocusing on a task. 

Monitoring students while they are working on their computers. Ability to shut off what they are doing if it isn't what they should be doing! Awesome! 

Integrating GoGuardian's features into my teaching practices enhances my ability to engage with all of my students, remotely and simultaneously. By using GoGuardian to screen monitor, I am able to make sure my student's are on task and close tabs that are not appropriate to the focal task. Additionally, the chat feature allows me to communicate with students as they are working, without disturbing the learning or focus of other students. 

I love GoGuardian! This program allows Srp to help the teacher have an extra pair of eyes on students. Some days the class gets busy and teachers have a lot on their hands so an extra set of eyes watching the kids always helps.I love how easy it is to load the classes. Being in so many classes all over the building helps with projects and staying on task, especially if they know you're watching them. GoGuardian is a beneficial new Website. 

I have never used GoGuardian before but I am excited to get started. This is a great way to monitor student work during technology time. This is a lot easier than walking around the room to see if they are on the correct website.

GoGuardian allows teachers to take over control of their classrooms again and allow students to work digitally.  It is so difficult to monitor students while they are working on their Chromebooks.  At the fifth grade level, students are easily side tracked and sometimes are not mature enough to resist the impulse to stray off task.  GoGuardian helps to monitor Chromebook activity.  This is exactly what I have been looking for.  I can’t wait to share this with my co-teacher and the teacher’s aide. GoGuardian is so much easier to monitor than saying, “Hands up!” and then looking at screens.  Ha! Ha!

I actually have never used GoGaurdian before, but I'm excited to get started! This is a great way to easily monitor what is actually being done during class time in a quick and efficient way!

GoGuardian helps teachers with content filtering, time-management, and monitoring capabilities.  This platform allows teachers to specify allowed or prohibited webpages to limit browsing during class.  Teachers are also able to chat with students as needed to redirect their focus.  GoGuardian is an excellent teaching tool since it allows teachers to easily view student work and provide meaningful, confidential feedback.
