Item Analysis Report

This is great to see an overall picture, as well as specific success and weaknesses. This is a report to run for lesson planning, as you can see what specific strands your class, as a whole are doing well on and where they are weak. In addition, it will help you form intervention groups for reteaching. Keeping n mind that there may have been only a question or two, it is still helpful to get an overall picture of what is tripping your students up!

EDAMS Reports

One of the best things about the reports is that teachers are able to breakdown the test and see how an entire class or just a student did on specific common core standards and on specific questions of the test. You must have your window closed in order to run reports. First you can select the report builder and just get the scores for your students. If you see your item analysis or your strand summary. You can have it create graphs to bring to your PLC's so that each teacher can compare the progress of students in different classes. The item summary will allow you to see how each student is doing on the different questions on the test. When you look at the reports it's important to remember that the smaller tests will skew the reports. All this information can be useful to take to your PLC and talk to your team members. This helps teachers know if they need to reteach a specific standard or maybe a specific type of question. For example maybe all students are struggling on the constructed response questions.

driving instruction

Knowing how the students are performing on different standards enables the teacher to see what the majority of students need to focus on and create small groups or reteach the large group the standard. The teacher must take into account how many questions were related to each standard to be able to judge which ones really do need more reteaching.

Driving Instruction

Having the ability to view student test results based on response, strand, standard, and item detail opens up the ability for teachers to see exactly where their students excelled and where they need to reteach.  They can even see each individual question to analyze if how the question was presented may have been the problem and adjust instruction accordingly.  Expert groups and reteach groups can be formed based on the data.

Analysis report

These reports allows teachers to view how students performed on previous assessments during previous years. Being in multiple settings allows for me to adjust my instruction when needed as well as apply the appropriate accommodations/modifications that best fit the needs of an individual student.

Analysis Reports

I think the Item Analysis Reports are a great tool to facilitate and drive instruction in areas of need.  These reports allow the teacher to delve into individual standards.  It gives a detailed analysis of where the majority of the learning gaps are.  Its also great for individual students to address their particular needs, or a great tool for a small teacher led group instruction.

How to see different reports and use them.

If you just want to see the scores, you can go to report builder and get the scores there. For more details, for example how students did on certain standards or strands, go to the standards based reports, pick your classes at your site, or whichever students you are looking for scores on.  The most current year of enrolled students will automatically show. If you want to change to last year, you will need to change the year enrolled.  Then you can choose which strand or standard results you want to see using the dropdown menu when the report is showing.  Maybe you want to see why most students missed a certain problem. You could use this information to determine if there is a concept that the students need to be retaught or maybe students are just confused with that standard and you’d like to see what you want to focus a mini lesson on to address the problem.

Item Analysis Report

The Standards-Based report aspect of EADMS permits an educator to see point by point test results that comes about for a current or past year's testing. Once a educator and/or test have been chosen, information can be seen by standard or and it can be decided in the event that a specific test thing or standard was troublesome for your students. This information must be seen on the basis that a standard may as it were have been tried with one thing or address in this manner its noteworthiness may not be incredible.

Item Analysis Report

If you want to know how students did on certain standards or strands, you can use this feature. You can go to standards based reports and then choose strand summaries, item summaries, etc. to see how students did on various items. This will help us drive future instruction on specific skills by allowing teachers to see the more item-specific results.

I love Item Analysis Reports!

This tool drives my instruction. Teaching in the RSP setting, I have to address remedial skills daily. Choosing which is not a guessing game with EADMS... you can retest until the item % goes up and you fill gaps in learning. Very effective tool.

Item Analysis Report

By using the analysis report, I am better prepared to look at how students did on specific questions or standards. By using this data, I am able to see what I need to reteach of concepts and standards that were missed.

Sort the information by class and see who and how many missed "good" questions and adjust my instruction. Check by item for % correct.
