Can't Wait to Use VOISS!

I am beyond excited about the VOISS program. Several of my own students are going to benefit so much from this, and I have shared the information with the district Autism specialist and my sped coordinator. This is such an amazing program and a great example of the quality of work that the CRL has been doing for over 40 years.

Conference keynote presented by Dr. Olli-Pekka Malinen

The conference keynote was so interesting and enlightening. Two pieces of information particularly stood out for me:
  1. Out of 10724 candidates who applied to be teachers in 2020, only 7% were selected.
  2. There is no formal teacher evaluation process; the principal of a school will know what the teachers are doing and will guide if needed. Everything is based on trust.

Lead yourself. What is your purpose? Are you paying attention, in too big of a hurry, taking care of yourself?
