Helped another team on my campus with GC

I did a web chat on 3/26 with the 4th grade team from my campus with tips on how to use Google Classroom. 

We met on Google Meet @2:30. I shared my screen with them and walked them through any questions that they had and showed them some really neat tricks and shortcuts to maximize their use of GC.

Google Slides Presentation

Using Google Slides, I created a presentation used by the Special Education Department to help teachers set up an account with SplashLearn. The presentation gave step-by-step instructions that included screenshots and hyperlinks.

Who have you taught?

I made a screencastify to teach my fellow math teachers across the district how to create an assignment using the district resources so students could access district lesson plans easier and faster. My principal also sent this video to the entire staff at my school.

Math TEKS Game Website

I introduced my team and my principal (that majored in mathematics) to a TEKS based Math game website that is perfectly aligned to what we are teaching and they all loved the great content!

I taught my wife Google Classroom and how to invite students and parents and how to post links and assignments. I also taught her how to use Screencastify to teach her parents how to access the Distance Learning Website.

FlipGrid

I taught a teacher on my team how to use FlipGrid. I used the screen recording feature on my iPhone and recorded myself walking her through each step, such as setting up a Grid and then adding Topics.

Who I taught

I taught my students and parents how to make sure that they are in my google classroom using screencastify.  A lot of them were asking for the classroom code multiple times when they were already in the class.  So I made a video to show them that they have to make sure that the student is signed in using their lifeschool email and password.

Who I taught

I taught Cassandra McDonald how to apply filters in Google Sheets. I also showed her how to validate data in cells to isolate the exact data she is looking for.
