Screencastify

I helped a teammate navigate screencastify. I showed her how you can use the screencastify tools while you are in present mode of Google Slides. I also showed her how to toggle back and forth from your tab to you.

I taught most of my parents Google Classroom

Most of my student's parents were having a difficult time with logging into google classroom, and joining into several classes. I created a powerpoint with a step by step to help. It helps alot when you have various forms of communication not just email or phone calls.

I taught a parent who was struggling with getting signed into Google classroom for all 3 of her students. I walked her through the steps of activating their email, registering for a classroom, and what each topic stood for on my specific classroom ( I teach one of her 3 students). We were able to successfully get them all signed up and she thanked me for reaching out and helping her.

Google Classroom

I helped out a parent who had expressed frustration with getting her son logged in to Google Classroom. I made a Screencastify video recording my tab to show her where to go and what info her son would need. She said that it was a big help since she was dealing with the fallout of everything else going on right now.

I taught my Mother how to use Zoom.

My mother 78 year-old mother is a board member for an up and coming health and fitness club in Palm Spring
California.  With everything happening in the world, the president of the board suggested they have their meeting via Zoom.  My Mom was was just a wee bit stressing.  I told her to subscribe to Zoom and that I would help her navigate the rest.
