"Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs."

This app is great for any and all modifying and accommodating I will be doing in my classroom. For those kids who do not like to read out loud, they can record themselves in private, send it in to me, and then I can evaluate it. There are many ways to use this app.

5a. Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.

6c. Create learning opportunities that challenge students to use a design process and computational thinking to innovate and solve problems. (because they have to innovate how to incorporate the keywords into the story they have to create - also if I did this in my class, I would have them relate it to math in some way) 

5c. Explore and apply instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that engage and support learning.

ISTE Standard: Collaborator

"4d. Demonstrate cultural competency when communicating with students, parents and colleagues and interact with them as co-collaborators in student learning."

This is just one way that Flipgrid can be implemented into the classroom. It is a simple app that maximizes communication between students, peers, teachers, family members, and any global connection receiver (given by the connection tool on Flipgrid).
