ISTE Standards: Facilitator

6a) Foster a culture where students take ownership of their learning goals and outcomes in both independent and group settings.
6b) Manage the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on makerspaces or in the field.
6c) Create learning opportunities that challenge students to use a design process and computational thinking to innovate and solve problems.
6d) Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections.

Leader and Facilitator

Leader: Educators seek out opportunities for leadership to support student empowerment and success and to improve teaching and learning.

Facilitator 6D: Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections.

These two standards play together. Through this webinar I was able to learn about ways to support students differences and I will be able to show children it is okay to share their culture and make connections to others.

I would select the standard "Faciliator" specifically, 6d

6d:" Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge or connections"

I chose this because the webinar heavily emphasized using digital texts and wonder walls in order to foster curiosity, ideas, and connections.
