Many of my students are visual learners. It'll allow them to hear & seevideos based on our skills. I will use EdPuzzle with all subjects.

Moving forward with EdPuzzle

I do believe that EdPuzzle will enhance student learning because it is self-paced and allows the teacher to focus on the content and skills the students will need to demonstrate understanding of an objective. I think that if it is consistently and over used then there is a chance some students will develop a dislike for the application. It can be utilized to review information and also present new content as well.

I will definitely need to use EdPuzzle this upcoming school year with my AP World History Modern students. There is not enough time for me to be able to cover all of the instructional topics before their exam in May. I know I will be pulled from my class to attend professional development during the school year so that will set instruction back as well. Assigning students an EdPuzzle on those days I am out will help ensure they continue to receive the content information they need. I can also utilize EdPuzzle if I go the path of flipped classroom and have the students learn the content through the excellent videos already created by YouTubers such as Steve Heimler and then show their understanding with the questions I assign through EdPuzzle. Classroom time can then be used to focus on historical thinking skills and writing practice since the students will come prepared with their content knowledge.  I can also assign some of the review videos prior to unit tests or the AP Exam to make sure the students are reviewing the content.

EdPuzzle Reflection

EdPuzzle is a very convenient tool for teachers to help engage students in their online learning. I do believe that EdPuzzle will enhance learning for my students as it is more interactive than simply watching a video and reporting back on what they have learned. Although, most times students are just waiting to hear the answer, they still have to attentively listen to the video in order to create an authentic response. I do hope to use EdPuzzle with my students in a variety of lessons as a tool for formative assessment. I also believe EdPuzzle would be great for teachers who want to explore a Flipped Classroom

Engagement and pre-assessment

I believe using Edpuzzle would be a really great way to provide differentiation to my classroom. I often will give students videos to think about that connects to what we are discussing in class but this is a way for me to do that but also support their writing and their thinking as they go through the video.

Reflection

I think edpuzzle  is a great tool to use in lessons.  I believe it can enhance learning for students, while making it fun and interesting for 2nd graders.  I can use this as an assignments for remote learners, and in school learners.  I believe it will be a tool I use going forward for a long time.

I will use EdPuzzle as a wrap up after different units that I cover in class and show the other teachers in my building about its benefits.

I loved Edpuzzle, I will use it many times in the future in my classroom.

Edpuzzle can be used for many different lessons in my classroom.  I will be using it for review for tests, homework assignments and group/collaborative assignments in class.  I think you can use this as evidence of learning for students as well as use it for feedback on lessons and checks for understanding.  I believe it will be liked by students and they will begin to learn more about the lessons.  Edpuzzle can be used in many different ways in my classroom and I am excited to start to use this wonderful tool.

Thanks,
