Reflection

As being an early childhood major twitter may not be used often in the classroom, but it can be used for community for the teachers. This can bring fresh new ideas. It can also be used to keep in contact with parents but be cautious.

Twitter can be relevant to my future classroom because it will give me resources and ideas to use in my classroom. As a student, I can use twitter to keep up with my professors and use it to share my assignments. As a teacher I can not only use it to get ideas for lessons, but I can also use it to find a support system with teachers all over the world.

I personally think twitter is extremely beneficial for educators to gain new knowledge, ideas and community among other educators. I do not think it is beneficial for a kindergarten classroom to use this form of tech in the classroom but it can be extremely useful for new, fresh ideas! I enjoy following people who make an impact and can actually give useful ideas. I am excited to follow educators that will keep me in the know with new knowledge and think this is beneficial for my own personal growth as a teacher 

Twitter is a great way for teachers to connect with their student's teachers. It can also be a great way to talk to other educators and find new ways to implement curriculum in the classroom.  

Twitter can be used in a productive manner, I see that now. I will use this now and in the future to learn from other educators and will use it in the classroom to introduce students to new communicative, collaborative manner. 

It is relevant because small towns need to have teachers that are leaders and prove that they can be successful in life if they take education seriously. I can use this as a student by contacting teachers and noting how they lead their classrooms.

Twitter is relevant for my future classroom because it will allow me to reach resources that may not be readily available at my school. It also will allow students in the digital world while learning and engaging in their classroom topics.

Technology can be used in my future classroom to help find evidence for research projects and collaboration. 

Twitter can be a helpful resource in collaborating with other teachers and co-learning with students. I can use Twitter now to follow other educators and learn different information from them about the classroom or things they do in the classroom that work or don’t. I chose collaboration as my ISTE standard because I see Twitter as a resource for networking with other educators for ways to improve classroom education for students.

Reflecting on this it is a way to connect a classroom and in many ways facilitation is a standard in which works well with twitter because say a student is missing class it connects everyone to be able to share notes or ideas. Now as an educator we must facilitate this learning and under the ISTE standard of Facilitation is important for students to grow as students and future learners as a connected world. 

In my future classroom we can yes this as a way to communicate and have an active homework session instead of just written work. 
I can use Twitter as a resource for new ideas now and later also as a place for support now and later. 
Designer: I love the ability to create new and interesting projects. I want to be a teacher that utilizes interactive activities that are not only fun but further the learning of my students and make them think critically.
