• Explain what Large Language Models are

1. Large Language models are are a type of AI that are trained on large amounts of data, the video explained that this large amount of data could be the entire internet or all of Shakespeare's works. It can be used to both generate and recognize text, 

• Describe the difference between generative and predictive AI. 

2.  The difference between generative and predictive AI is that predictive AI is based on historical patterns, it will make predictions based on things that have happened in the past, While generative AI creates things that are new it is used to create things like games, images, audio and text. 

Predictive AI uses pre-existing information to find potential future results. Generative AI uses pre-existing information to create something new, such as writing, images, and videos.

Generative AI will create new content that will be similar to what you searched.  It will be based on learned patterns within the training data; however it will just be next level.

Predictive AI creates new content based on historical data and patterns.  It will focus on past data to make predictions on the future.  It doesn't make new data. 

Large Language Models are program learning models that understand and generate human language text. This is a deep learning algorithm that performs a variety of natural language tasks, and are trained using massive data sets.

Large Language Models are programs that can learn patterns and use it to predict new text.  It is used to create apps, websites, video games and new drugs.

1. Large Language Models is trained on the largest amount of information possible such as everything available on the Internet. It's able to generate completely new information... Writing essays or poems, having conversations, or even the ability to write code. Large Language Models can also be used for text generation, a form of generative AI, by taking an input text and repeatedly predicting the next token or word. The possibilities are endless!

2. Generative AI is primarily focused on creating new content, such as images, videos, music, or text. Its goal is to generate novel and creative outputs that mimic human-like patterns. In contrast, Predictive AI aims to make predictions about future events based on historical data. Its primary purpose is to analyze patterns in data to forecast potential outcomes or trends.

Large language models, get all of the information and all of the previous text on the internet and use that information to predict or formulate new content. These models generate new writing and can even stylize it in the style of William Shakespeare, for example. Generative AI. Predictive AI is used to predict new and future ideas and concepts that have not occurred and generative AI produces pictures words and music that already exist.

Large Language Models take in huge amount of information (the whole Internet) to be trained, like a neural network, to predict patterns and create content.  
The Predictive AI uses historical information and probability to predict trends.
Generative AI uses diverse and comprehensive data to analyze and understand patterns, relationships, and structures to create new content.  

Large Language Models are trained to look at the widest range of information, for example, everything on the internet. That training enables it to produce completely new information. While it seems complicated from the outside, it is based on simple math and probability. LLM’s use a combination of the most probable results based on its training with some randomness to ensure that what it produces isn’t too repetitive. It uses a neural network much like the neurons in the brain to gather information and create. 

Chat GPT is considered generative AI, because it uses the most information in the most complex way to come up with completely new works in text. Predictive AI simply reproduces what already exists based on more limited information. More like a remix or a forecast. Generative AI still needs humans to prevent results that could be overly biased or even dangerous.
