At any point during the Super Google Boot Camp, you may submit an idea of how you will: 1) Use a tool that you do not know how to use YET. 2) How you will celebrate this effort regardless of the outcome! 3) Explain what practice will you substitute with the use of this tool.

I will use a Google doc to show my students how to write a paragraph using add ons. I will cheer the class. I'll replace paper & pencil.

1) Google form: utilize it as a weekly reading log. 2) Share the outcome with staff at a meeting. 3) Check/monitor my students' progress

Book Reviews!

I want to use Google Forms to make a link on my website for students to log and review the books they read on their own. I can collect feedback and info about what they're reading and they can read each other's reviews. We can have a class shout out every time someone finishes a novel. This will take the place of a hand written reading log/book report.

Google Slides as Newsletters!!

I do not know how to use Google Slides for Newsletters YET, but I am excited to try this technology in my classroom by first embedding a slide on my class website to share news rather than sending out a weekly class email.

I would like to create a questionnaire to track my students progress and transfer the info over to sheets to view results over time.

As a site principal, I will incorporate "G-Time" (ie add-ons) into my staff meetings-to model, lead, and support change

Committed to CHANGE

I am going to learn to use Google Slides to develop a newsletter to support, inspire & encourage staff.
I am also going to learn to create a Google Site (I sense that a change with the existing site might be on the horizon!). Along the way I plan to smile & laugh a lot because if it's not fun, it's not really worth doing! :)

How i will learn/use my maps with students

1-I will use My Maps in a lesson w/ students.
2-I will share the completed map on my site.

While I am yet to use forms to enhance instruction, it will soon happen (starting now) using the SAMR process.

While I am yet to use forms. I will create templates to substitute journal writing, reading logs and short assessments. I am sure many students are yet to learn forms so they will be praised during the process for progress, as well as the end result. This is important as we move toward Augmentation...as using forms becomes the norm. As we move forward, the process will be streamlined and improved leading to modification of the old process to the new which will then lead to a Redefinition of certain tasks. By this, I mean that when I announce it is time for journal entries or reading logs (for example), a students first thought will be to go to their google account, complete their task, share for multiple classmates for response (respond to others) and turn in/submit. I am/we are not there yet, but eventually, that will be the norm.
