Some tasks are going to be easier for my low-level ESOL students and some will be more difficult for them to achieve until they have more English vocabulary.

This was great information about Topic, Main Idea and grabbing details from passages

Thank you for this training! It was very beneficial and I look forward to incorporating the strategies into my 7th grade science classroom.

I'm excited to begin implementing with students and work towards earning more badges for this strategy!

Fall District PD 21: Fundamentals of Paraphrasing & Summarizing Strategy (KU) 
During this PD this strategy and the instructional methods to teaching the strategy most effectively were introduced.  Attended via ZOOM.  PD facilitator was Rosemary Tralli.

July 18, 2022 attended as a participant SIM:High School The Fundamentals of Paraphrasing and Summarizing in person PD with Rosemary Tralli.  Training took place at Las Cruces High School.

August 18, 2022 facilitated SIM:High School The Fundamentals of Paraphrasing and Summarizing PD with fellow colleague- Josie Miller.  Ms. Rosemary Tralli was present via ZOOM to provide support to both of us as needed.  Training took place in the Doña Ana Room in the LCPS Teaching & Learning Center.

Will be implementing strategy with a middle school student and a high school classroom.
