Virtual Coaching: Flexible PD for Any Educator Anywhere.

I LOVED the VECTOR model presented by Marti Elford and Suzanne Myers. It made complete sense. I could absolutely see myself using it as a guide to creating my own similar model to support my virtual coaching partnerships. It is a model that can be used in any academic setting with any teacher at any grade level and within any content area.

Re-imagining SIM (Helen and Rosemary) was engaging and helpful! I appreciated the overview and discussion regarding new resources.

The Keynote session was very interesting. I learned a lot about the difference in our education system and the Finnish system..

Brown Bag Lunch w/Don Deshler!

This was, by far, my favorite session that I attended. It was so nice to hear some really motivational and inspirational words, especially in these times of stress and uncertainty. It was really nice to listen to ways on how to take of ourselves, so we can be better for the teachers and students we work with.

Update 2022

The update was extremely helpful this year. I really enjoyed the sessions with Janet Atallah. I am hoping to get some ideas about how to move towards training other teachers in my school and using microcredentialing as a motivator/incentive.

Virtual Coaching - Flexible professional development for any educator - comments

This was a great session.  I have really sat and pondered on how do we get back to a culture of coaching in our district.  I liked the comment of coaching helps ensure the transfer of PD to practice.  I am going to work with my department and use the ideas from this to see how we can work on getting back to coaching.
I also liked the personal maps that the presenters used in the beginning to help us get to know them and how I could use something like that in pd and coaching.
JUST GREAT!
