The Vocabulary LINCing Routine is an excellent strategy to utilize in the classroom with all student learners.  Through a series of steps, the student will list the word, list a reminding word, write a definition, write a simple story including key words in the definition, and illustrate a picture that will assist him/her with LINCing a variety of different items to the word itself.  It appears to be a successful strategy to assist student learners with expanding their vocabulary knowledge.  I am looking forward to teaching this strategy to my students and professional colleagues this upcoming 2017-2018 school year and to monitor the associated data with vocabulary usage.
