I attended my first SIMs training in the summer of 2016 at Port Charlotte High. I learned the Unit Organizer routine at that time.

Strategic Instruction Model™, Content Enhancement Series, Unit Organizer, Radford, Virginia (3 hour training) in the Fall of 2004

I used the unit organizer for many years in co-taught algebra and biology classes. It was a wonderful way to collaborate and plan with the co-teachers I worked with, and students found it beneficial to know what they would be learning throughout a unit.
