Reflection

Becoming an apple teacher made me feel more equipped to use technology in my future classroom. I am more confident in my ability to incorporate all these apps into future lesson plans. I am more able to communicate directions to students to give them the most advanced form of education. 

This is relevant to my classroom because iPads and other apple technology is becoming increasingly available in classrooms. They need to be used to engage students who have been born into the technology era.
I can use this in my future classroom by utilizing apps on my iPad for lessons. For example, a group can pages to take notes on a PDF I sent out.

By taking the quizzes and receiving these badges, I now feel as though I can use almost anything on the iPad efficiently. There was some things that I hadn't had experience with before, so going through this process has made me more capable of using such apps in my future classroom. Through this, I also got to see how you can use more than one of these apps to create a really amazing end result. I think one of the most beneficial ways I could use this in the elementary classroom could be to allow students to take pictures of their work and create projects in either iMovie or Keynote, maybe even pages, to share their information with the class. Even for myself, I could use these different apps to teach in a more fun and engaging way now that I know more on how to work different applications to create one cool project. 

I think that taking these quizzes to earn my Apple Teacher badges was very beneficial. As a future educator, it's comforting to know that if I have an iPad in the classroom, I can do just about anything I need to. My favorite badges were the creativity and productivity quizzes because I was able to realize how well all of the apps can work together to build some really cool projects. I think one way to use this as a teacher would be to take photos of your students learning and then use Keynote, Pages, or iMovie to make an appealing documentation of learning for parents. In addition, I feel like these apps allow for a lot of creativity for young students and with proper direction, could be used in an early childhood classroom.

With these new badges, I have learned how to succesfully incorporate and use the various tools found on the iPad and various other Apple products. This knowledge can help me to facilitate learning for my students with the help of technology.

Becoming an Apple teacher will be relevant in my future classroom because it will open different doors when it comes to using Apple technology with my future students. By becoming an Apple teacher, I am more knowledgeable about how to incorporate the iPad and MacBook into my future classroom in a beneficial way. I have found that using the iPad in a classroom setting helps keep students engaged and want to learn because it is more interactive than a standard worksheet. I decided to get my badges for the iPad because I will more than likely use the iPad interactively with students rather than a MacBook. It is important for me to know all the ins and outs of the iPad and how I can use it effectively in my future classroom.
