Reflection

The most obvious implication for being an Apple Certified Teacher is how it will help find a job after graduation. The information that was covered will be useful in implementing my future classroom. I had never used garage band before and I really enjoyed playing around with that app, and I can see infinite possibilities in early childhood!

Passing these small tests have given me the opportunity to actually take time to learn the skills necessary to keep up with a 21st century classroom. I look forward to all the ways my future art classes will be able to use these apps to further their understanding in the classroom, with my help!!!

Being an apple educator is relevant to my future classroom because there are so many apps I can use in my future classroom, and knowing how to proficiently use them as guides or help in my classroom will make me a more relevant and successful teacher. 

Becoming an Apple Teacher has helped me learn the various applications that can be used on a Mac or iPad and how I can incorporate them into the classroom. I will use this experience to educate my students that way they can become technologically savvy in the modern world. This will also give them the tools to pursue independent projects and to delve further into their understanding of a topic. Furthermore, the majority of these applications focus on the creation of content, which is the highest level of Bloom's taxonomy. 

This is relevant for my future classroom because all the things I learned through this badge can be useful in a classroom setting. These are ways to help engage students by using technologies and it is a huge benefit to learn how to use these apps. A lot of students already know how to use these things and so to be able to use these in a classroom can help motivate and spike students interest. I can also be able to answer more question about these apps in the future and help my students learn how to use them. This can help me differentiate my instruction. 

It is incredibly relevant as a facilitator to create use technology as an opportunity for learning and creativity. Using a select amount of applications on an iPad can allow students to create projects from video, audio, design, presentation and other creative forms. This immerses students further into the content and opens the door for imaginative processes.These can be used in guided instruction, projects and summative assessment, to name a few. 

Becoming an Apple Teacher is extremely relevant to my future career. Learning more about these apps will allow me to better manage my own files and classroom along with giving me more tools to give my students so they can create, learn, and grow! I was super surprised about the capabilitites of many of these apps. There was so much I didn’t know, even on apps that I’ve been using for forever! I’m especially excited that I learned how to use formulas on numbers! That will be so helpful when doing data tracking for my students.

Becoming an Apple teacher is very relevant to becoming a future teacher. Technology is a very important part of the classroom today and being an Apple teacher will allow me to stay on top of important apps to help me teach. I can use this in my class for many different things. I can use garage band to record different lesson that I can upload for students to review. I can also use pages to create instructions for projects as well as everyday lessons.  My standard of choice is a facilitator. It is a facilitator because learning to be an Apple teacher allows me to teach my students with technology in a way that will improve their education and achievement. 

I had no idea that all of these apps could do so much! I had no idea Pages had so much versatility. This is relevant to my future classroom because if I didn’t have this knowledge, my students would be stuck with a basic PowerPoint and there is no way that everyone can learn to their potential off of that one tool alone. I can use this not only for different projects for my students, but also as a way to spice up my own presentations of information as well! I really like GarageBand and Pages.

Being an Apple Teacher will make it easier to incorporate technology into my classroom. Technology is always growing and shifting, so keeping updated with what’s new and what is best for the classroom is important. I know what I like and what I don’t, so using the iPads in the classroom will be easy to do as I already have a plan. I’m looking forward to seeing where this certification can take me, especially in the job market and in the growing technological society. 

I can use these tools in my future classroom. I plan on having an interactive social studies classroom. I can use each app for group work, class presentations, and projects. Additionally, each app will be appealing to at least one student. This will make for interesting classroom activities and presentations.
