Digital Citizen- Educators inspire students to positively contribute to and responsibly participate in the digital world. Posting on DonorsChoose and letting kids know that you do so can be a powerful tool for demonstrating just how impactful it can be to use technology to your advantage. You can show the students how other teachers have also asked for donations to make their classrooms better and how technology allows us to receive help with items we want to work with in school that we wouldn’t normally be able to work with. This can also demonstrate kind human beings. Emphasize the fact that sometime these are even people we don’t even know, but they want to help us out. Teaching children that when technology is used responsibly, it can have such a positive impact.
