We began the Self Questioning Strategy with the pretest on Nov 9, 2020 and ended withthe posttest January 6, 2021. When we began the Strategy, the student were asking basic yes/no questions. With modeling and posting the seven types of questions (which we referred to quite often), student quickly picked up the concept. The biggest issue is that the students would pose a question but not find the answer until several paragraphs later, which confused them somewhat. Using the selg-questioning worksheet seemed to help with this.
