Below is a summary of all of the special formatting options that can be used when writing learning log entries or wiki pages.

Formatting Examples

Section Breaks
Create section breaks by including one or more dashes on a separate line. >> Example: Type "-----" on its own line.

Links
URLs automatically made clickable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open-source_software

Wiki Pages
Linking to new or existing pages within a badge's wiki is also automatic.  Just put a hash symbol "#" before a string of characters and it will be turned into a clickable link to that wiki page.  For more info refer to #hashtag.

Images
URLs which end with image extensions (.png, .jpg, etc.) will automatically be turned into embedded images
You can force a URL to be rendered as an embedded image by typing "img:" before the URL.
