I've started using it so students can practice grammar. I haven't used it a ton in my class, since their aren't a ton of ELA activities.
I definitely want to explore using khan academy in centers during tier time, having students doing lessons on topics they are struggling with. But again, most of the activities are grammar. My students use this app in math a lot and they enjoy it.
I noticed that some students were kind of zoning out and weren't paying full attention to the videos. I definitely prefer EdPuzzle when it comes to videos, because I can quiz students as they watch.
Next year when I am teaching social studies, I'd like to use some of the social studies lessons.
