I set up my kids in Khan Academy using Clever SSO. I started them on a module about HTML and CSS. I wanted them to get familiar with it for a couple days, and then use it as an anchor activity during a long project we are doing in 4th quarter. It was *extremely difficult* to get set up. I don't know if was because we were trying to go through Canvas, but the videos were very difficult to load and the site kept crashing. I assigned kids a course, and I could see that I had in my dashboard. But they didn't see that anywhere on their dashboard. There was a notification they they were assigned a mission. However, once they started it and left and came back, they didn't have a way to start it. So they had to search the specific module title. Now that we've gone to the effort to set it up, we will keep using it. I think it would be easier if we had a way to go through the app with SSO. I will play around with that and see if it is possible.
My students seemed fairly indifferent to it. They were "goggled in" but I don't think they were too engaged. Some zoned out during the videos and then didn't know what to do when it came time to do the activity.
