Math multiplication problems

I can create multiplication math problems and give students the code, so they are able to solve the problems. This will not only help students improve their reading and problem solving skills, but I can also use the assignment to assess students understanding of word problems.

Classkick can be used for many assignments.  I'd love to use it for tier math  to help differentiate instruction!

Instead of GoFormative

Classkick is very similar to GoFormative. Right now, my students are kind of burnt out on GoFormative since they use it during tier time and when the take common summative assessments. I would like to use it on a daily basis, but they prefer Canvas. I see myself using this every once in a while on an assignment that I know some students will struggle with. This will allow me to check their work while they're working and help them along the way.

Tier Time

I see myself using this a lot during their time. It will allow me to quickly check for  student understanding during lessons. I like that they can join a class with a simple code. Can't wait to use it in class.

:) So many ways...

You can use Classkick in Math and ELA! I love the idea of putting Wonders stories into Classkick and allowing them to underline and answer questions! In Math, you can easily have three blank sheets and tell them what three questions you would like them to solve in Classkick!

Ideas for Classkick

I think it could be a great way to administer quizzes. It was super easy to embed audio for each question, which could be helpful for kids that need a read aloud. They could also "raise their hand" through Classkick to ask a question during a quiz, so that you can real time monitor in a way that Canvas doesn't allow.

I think it's also a good way to chunk up an assignment. Lots of our teachers use PDF expert, but kids can get overwhelmed when they see so many questions on the page. Classkick delivers one question at a time, making it easier for kids to focus on one question at a time.

Class kick in the Classroom

Classkick would be great for guided practice before independent work. I also could see using it on Review days.  That way I could monitor understanding as students are working, escpecially with the issues Apple Classroom has been having. I like that I can respond as they work to correct misconceptions before they become habits.

So glad I gave this resource a shot!

I was really hesitant about Classkick at first. But once I started creating assignments with it, I realized how amazing it can be! I always that it was similar to Edulastic but it is completely different!

I am thinking of putting a passage into class kick with questions, having students answer questions  and show evidence for how they go their answer. They would do this by highlighting the passage in classkick.

I love that classkick allows you to have less papers. You can upload anything to it have students work from classkick AND see them work in real time as they do it! They can also flag something if they need help!

So this is what I keep hearing about!

I have a day where the kids teach me to use tech. One of my students showed me how to use classkick this Wednesday. She even used my account and set up and assignment and walked me through everything. I have to admit I already use a lot of different ways to deliver content so I wasn't sure I would use it much.
The next day, We were doing math problems on the board and I got struck by lightning. I looked at her and said we should be doing this in classkick. We shared a laugh and the rest of the class was confused. I realized that I could use classkick for everyone responds type questions instead of white boards. After I try it with the class I want to explore more the recording and posting pictures part of classkick.
