1. This was actually the first time that I used Quizlet Live. I've used Quizlet for vocabulary, flashcards, etc. for individual reviewing purposes; however, this was the first time that I did it live in all of my US History classes...

I really enjoyed the live action of it. It forced students to work together with other students in the classroom that they normally don't or wouldn't work with. I like how they had to communicate with each other (their team) if they wanted to be successful throughout the live action game play. The students were definitely getting more and more competitive with one another, on their own teams, and the other opposing teams that they were competing with/against. During the game play (we probably played somewhere between 5-7 games in each class period), I took note of the students becoming more and more familiar with the vocabulary words throughout the matching activity. It was also nice to see the collective effort of each group/team trying to win that particular round; the excitement or even the disappointment/frustration...

I definitely see myself utilizing this feature more often; this year and next moving forward with review games before our upcoming unit tests. I also like to add the incentive to each team, that the winning team (first to three or five games) wins extra credit points for their upcoming unit test. This always seems to carry a little extra motivation! =)
