- I chose to play Counting Collections: Up to 10. This game helps in growing skills, including how to count accurately up to 10 and identifying numbers up to 10. This game used 5 frames and made it easy to create 10 frames to organize objects so students can accurately use "count all" as a strategy. In addition, students are exposed to "counting on" as a strategy.
- This center could be a daily warm-up center/whole-group practice or assigned as a center on center day. I love that student practice can be differentiated in stages to support or extend student learning. It is also beneficial for students to have the opportunities to play both digitally and in written form. This gives students variety and provides much needed opportunities for students to touch & count, draw & count, and write numbers accurately.
