AI in Everyday Life:  As a teacher and a mom to a teenage son, AI helps in both home and work life. It saves time but also has limits. AI at Home: Smart Assistants (Siri) – We use Siri to set reminders, check the weather for travel and lax practice, and even answering quick homework questions. Homework Help – My son asks ChatGPT to explain AP World History topics, but I remind him to fact-check and think critically. AI can summarize, but it can’t replace deep learning.  AI at Work: AI helps with grading & lesson Planning . AI tools help me create quizzes, projects and give feedback faster, so I have more time to help students. It also helps with classroom engagement – AI-powered platforms like Kahoot! make learning fun and interactive.

A Real-Life AI Moment: One night, my son asked Google Assistant about the causes of the French Revolution for his AP World History homework. It gave a basic answer, but he still needed me to explain it in depth. AI was a helpful start, but it didn’t replace real discussion and analysis.

How AI Has Changed Life: AI makes life easier but not perfect. It helps with time management and quick answers, but it can’t replace critical thinking or personal teaching. As a mom and teacher, I see AI as a tool, not a shortcut.
