I have heard of AI being used for all kinds of things at work and at home- writing emails, speeches, essays, and even messages in sympathy cards. I've used it mostly in the car through Maps, which I guess uses AI, and Siri. My Siri interactions are not always very successful, but that might be because I don't have everything set up properly. Which is evidence that the tool is only helpful it the user understands it! I don't have Alexa in my house because I've been a little nervous about it. My nephew has an Alexa device in his bedroom, though, and I know he asks it all sorts of things that he wonders about. My sister can see a report of the questions he asks. She's noticed that sometimes he struggles to ask the right question to get the information he is looking for. This actually makes me want to get one for my daughter, so I can better support her curiosity.
