I started out very basic and just put in the prompt to create an email to send to a parent about their child struggling in some areas in the classroom. It provided me with 2 different prompts and asked which I preferred. Once I had a generic email I then went back to the prompt to give more specifics such as the child's name and the specific areas in which the child is struggling. The response was edited and was tailored more towards the child in my class. I was also then able to edit the prompt to put more specifics such as the school name, my contact information, and parent name. It was helpful that at the end of each response Chat GPT gave recommendations on specifics to edit. For example it said "Let me know if you’d like to personalize the parent’s name or school name too!" At the end of my final prompt and response it also suggested "Let me know if you'd like to turn this into a printed note for folders or if you want it in a more casual tone for texting or messaging apps!" I thought this was super helpful!
