The use of AI in the future is inescapable. It is already seeping in to all facets of our lives, in ways we almost don't notice. It can be exciting to think about the ways AI will change our lives for the better, simplifying routine tasks and offering "experts" to teach and guide us. AI can already help us answer questions and complete research, when we think to use it.
I am particularly interested in trying out AI for lesson-planning. Student engagement in learning is our most important goal, and AI can enhance that. I want to look at the Khan Academy feature for making engaging hooks and full lessons in order to make my teaching more dynamic. The possibilities are endless with AI, and can truly be used to make our lives richer and easier in many ways. It will be interesting to collaborate with other educators on how and when to leverage AI for our benefit.
