I think, overall, we will see teaching and education change as AI develops. However, I strongly believe AI will not replace a teacher in a classroom. I think students coming to us will be much more technologically prepared to use AI to assist in their schooling. AI is definitely going to change life moving forward and in most job industries. I do think we will see AI, as mentioned in the video, helping with Zoom calls and aiding in how we do most aspects of our jobs.
Education is playing a major role in the use of AI. We are some of the first interactions that students may have in trying to use AI and learning how to use it. It's important that as educators, we embrace AI and recognize its long-term impact on students and our teaching. We have a very powerful role in AI with students; we can teach them how to appropriately use AI, but also the restrictions of AI.
