After watching the videos, AI is not going away, that is just the reality of the situation. Companies, whether it is advertising or production of content are or will be using. I think that is exciting, there will be new types of jobs, new types of products. When we have a new tool, we can use it and adapt to what should be a more productive society. Will there be setbacks? I think there will be many. But will there be more good or production than those setbacks remain to be seen.
What role does education have on the use of AI?
Think of the ways I can alter my current lessons. The ability to create new math questions, or create questions WITH errors and have the students do error analysis on those! Personally, I know I can use them responsibly, but it will be the teachers job to ensure that we as a school or community teach responsibility, ethics, and digital citizenship.
