I think this is the direction we are headed. AI can be such a valuable resource when used appropriately. As teachers, we can use this to help with generating ideas, lessons, etc and then use our expertise to tweak it. We can show our students, the process we are using for AI and then they can replicate it with tasks in the classroom. AI can be a huge time saver. It allows teachers more time to work with kids and focus on other things.
As educators, we need to teach students how to use this properly and with everything, there is a time and place for it. Showing students how they can use it appropriately to help with tasks and researching things is great. We don't want them to have such an emphasis on it, that they aren't doing any thinking themselves. there needs to be balance.
