My Learning Strategist apprenticeship occurred under Ceil Triggs from 2006 to 2008.

As a Special Education Consultant for Prairie Lakes AEA, I volunteered to join the agencies KU team.  I studied under the tutelage of KU veteran Ceil Triggs from 2006 to 2008.  Courses I became certified to present during that time included Word Identification, Visual Imagery, First-Letter Mnemonic, Fundamentals of Sentence Writing, and Proficiency in Sentence Writing.  Ann Hoffman approved my portfolio in Des Moines and my certification as a Learnng Strategist.
