Dana McCaleb and Whitney Miller, Virginia Department of Education
T/TAC at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. Making critical content
accessible to all learners is a challenging task. There are multiple
data points a teacher must consider when planning instruction for such
diverse students, and this level of thought can become a frustrating
task. How can we effectively integrate CERs to impact student learning?
Knowing what needs are met by each CER and understanding how and when
to select and utilize these routines to meet the instructional needs of
students is the first step. During this poster session we will discuss
how SMARTER Planning and integration of Content Enhancement Routines can
increase student achievement.
