I received professional development for the Vocabulary LINCing routine during the co-teaching summer conference of July 2015. Helen Barrier provided the training, and I remember thinking what a neat strategy to implement when working with my students whom are several grade-levels below reading level. I also remember that the strategy made perfect sense to me as I often make auditory and visual connections with important information that I need to remember as well.
