What went well: Students in the co-taught 3rd/ 4th period were able to review the Figurative Language Unit
" SHAMPOR" using an evidence based strategy in an interactive way.
What was a challenge: I had to do more probing and cueing when asking the students to provide logical examples and developing a " so what statement" .
What I will do next time: Next time I will try to develop more of a "big picture' idea and connect more background knowledge in the " so what statement"
What adjustments did I make: While implementing the FRAME I had students give me all the concepts going straight across and the provided definitions and examples.
