Jocelyn Washburn provide great feedback on ways to enhance our instruction utilizing the FRAME Routine. Amy and I wanted to incorporate the FRAME with our writing instruction. Jocelyn reviewed our initial drafts of the FRAME Routine and encouraged us to add a "So What" statement to the conclusion of our FRAME. During instruction, our students demonstrated more reflection on including more substantive statements in their concluding paragraphs. Students often struggle in generating insightful sentences in their concluding paragraphs, so Jocelyn's suggestion was very valuable to our instruction.
