Our second block English 8 class has 26 students, many with Individualized Education Plans. This particular group of students struggle with remaining on-task for a sustained amount of time. They are respectful when prompted, but they do require constant support. The Frame Routine has been introduced on a more frequent basis as we prepare the students for Grade 8 Writing SOL on March 13th/14th. As an estimate, we have spent several hours in class over the past few weeks discussing the FRAME Routine in more detail as a learning tool. Attached are the draft and final products.
