My Co-Teaching partner and I used the Framing Routine with our group of 19 second graders. There are eight students with disabilities and one student with a 504 Plan. When we plan to use the Framing Routine, this portion of the lesson takes approximately 20 – 25 minutes. We have used this device across the curriculum routinely this school year. The device is great for introducing a unit, reviewing for future references or studying for a test. Our students appear be comfortable and successful using this device.
