I chose to do this book study to encourage myself to start reading again. I chose the book Limitless Mind because I really enjoy reading content that can enhance my lifestyle and strengthen my impact as a mother and teacher. I also enjoy reading material that challenges my mindset and stretches me. This book is doing that :)

I also chose this book because it came highly recommended from a friend!

Why did you choose this book?

I chose this book because Mental Illness is a huge problem in our country.  If there is anything that I can do to help with this epidemic or educate myself further on the subject, I am willing to do so.  This also popped up on my amazon list of popular books amongst educators and it sounded very interesting!

My Why

Every year, I try to Pinterest different ideas about classroom management. I gather ideas to try and talk with colleagues about what they do, but many of the times, I choose to try things that are not sustainable. I am hoping that this book gives me some new ideas about sustaining my classroom management. I also feel as though I have not had a lot of training on it through college and my career so why not now?

Highly recommended!

I chose The Anxious Generation because of a very convincing book talk at our first faculty meeting this year! Since then, I have seen it recommended many times. So many people, including our kids, now suffer from anxiety. I am looking forward to reading it!
