I have limited experience with Sites but I know it is primarily for sharing resources and information to an audience.
1. Classroom is a simple and easy layout that makes it easy for students to find information, directions, assessments, assignments, etc. Students become familiar with Classroom very quickly.
2. I can give feedback to the students submitted work directly from Classroom, as well as assign a grade. Often students have the Classroom app on their phone and they receive notifications immediately when I've responded or posted.
3. Not only can students find all of the resources and materials that you post, but parents can easily access the Classroom and see the posts and what their child is doing or what projects/assignments they are supposed to be working on.
